A NEW GRANDSON, RYAN THOMAS, born January 5, 2004

Kathy's son Tim and his wife Sally started the new year by having their second son, Ryan Thomas, a month early! He is reported to be in fine form and good health at (a tiny) 4 lbs 6 oz. He came home with his wonderful mommy Sally and daddy Tim on January 8. He needs to be kept awake while nursing, as he is prone to take naps whenever possible. His big brother Dylan might be able to help with that! We are planning a visit soon but for now, all we can see are his footprints!

Since he was so early, Ryan Thomas had to wait two days to get his name.
